i should be writing or drawing or just plain doing something. but instead mum has quest on loud enough for dad to hear which means louder than the flaming lips in my headphones.

i'vwe spent the day doing nothing right and frankly i'm inclined to think it will go on like for the forseeable. i really can no longer be bothered.

'I'm needed back on Earth' The Doctor turned to her and she noted the metres of tape he had slung around his shoulders in sympathy with his scarf. 'How do you know?' 'Oh I left the Brigadier a space/time telegraph system and told him not to use it unless he had a real emergency on his hands' the Doctor grinned in reply. 'And he's used it?' Sarah sighed, shaking her recently untied hands 'He has, come on you two!' The Doctor didn't wait for them, striding back into the TARDIS and begining the dematerialisation 'I say, what about the Commander aren't we going to stop and say cheerio?' Harry wondered only to be met by a sharp 'Come ON!' in reply. Sarah grabbed his hand, warning him not to argue and dragged him through the doors, just in time. )

after a week of not sleeping properly i was looking forward to a good night on Friday the 3rd. even mamanged to have the sort of online conversations that would help me sleep better.

at 3am I was awoken by the smell of smoke. searched the flat, the gardens to see if anyone had set fore to the trees outside.

with nothing obvious i went back to a bad night. the walk up to the road i couldnt see anything on the way either.

Heading into town the square was closed but until we parked and met up with Neil on the way into work we were oblivious.

Apparently at 2.30am ish the local post office/ newsagent caught fire. it was a building connected to 2 travel agents and the oldest inn in town.

right now its a burning mass of charcoal.

so works been a bit quiet and you can no longer buy a boost duo in town :(

as bekkypk put it here it was an awesome week.

aside from: Barrowman, nature rambles, Coventry Transport Musuem (and associated giant ikea), badge making, bus journeys, Brum's Pride March and the distant shopping centre best remembered for the views on the way and the belgian waffles - I also did some time travelling.

I travelled back to my pre-university days when watching the prisoner, MFU, M:I and the saint were all new experiences for me.
And through them I travelled to the latter half of the 1960s and infected Bekky with the joy that good story telling and bugger all budget can bring you once again.
